What is Christmas on The Plateau?

Christmas on the Plateau is a free event organised by the combined churches of Alstonville and Wollongbar. This annual event is held each year in the Elizabeth Ann Brown Park.

What time does the event start and finish?

The first part of the event commences at 4.30pm and concludes at 6.45pm, and includes children’s activities, crafts, face painting, and guest performers. The second part of the event includes Christmas Carols led by a talented team of guest performers.

What will visitors experience at the event?

Visitors can look forward to a range of free activities including: BBQ, face painting, rock climbing wall and bungee, children’s Christmas craft, animal nursery, jumping castle, and Christmas Carols.

How much does it cost to go to Christmas on the Plateau?

The event is free.

What do I need to bring to the event?

Bring a picnic rug for the Christmas Carols.

Is food and drink available?

A free BBQ sausage sizzle, ice blocks and water will be available throughout the afternoon. This is a drug and alcohol free event.
